What do non cat owners take for granted that you can't?

Oh I thought of another one....

Leaving your purse unzipped, not having to worry something is missing..

Using your blush brush freely, without a cat trying to take it away from you...

Being able to brush your teeth with the water running, and not having a cat drinking the running water below you....

How about this one? It just happened to me!

Being able to put linoleium (sp?) tiles on your bathroom floor without having a kitten getting stuck to the sticky side of the tile!

Wow, I hadn't gotten to read this thread all weekend & I totaly identify with just about everything here. The funny thing is I know that not one of us would change any of these things. I discovered a new one this weekend.

Being able to leave for the day with out worrying about water bowls getting tipped over & soaking your floor.

What I take for granted is coming home to the 4 best things that ever happend to me.

not having to chase the cats off "their" excersize equipment when it needs to be used.
not having to crouch down when you open the front door to pick up a cat
not having to be home before 9 to make sure the cats get their dinins
not having to hide the curtain cords so that there is no accidental kitty lynchings

not hitching up one leg to hobble awkwardcly through the dark because one cat always sleeps directly in the middle of the hallway between the bedroom and the bathroom
not having glasses with the ear pieces gnawed on
not having to blot milk out of an antique turkish carpet because "someone" decidedit was, indeed, his milk.
not being woken up at 3 am because someone is drooling on your left breast and making bread. (sorry, but this is typically how I am woken up.)
Not having to carefully turn a cat because the only thing you can see when watching TV is a bumhole.

Not having a cat bite your bottom when you're on the toilet because they want to play in the water.

I always end up taking them over to a girlfriend's across the hall...

You have a personal sniffer too?? Trent generally has to smell EVERYTHING we eat or drink. It doesn't matter how many times I tell him, "That's Diet Coke. You don't like it, and you don't like the bubbles hitting your nose..." He still has to smell it. Lucky for me, he actually doesn't like people food at all.
