Thanks! GCCF recognise Burmese in the following colours: Brown, blue, chocolate, lilac, red, cream, brown tortie, chocolate tortie, blue tortie, and lilac tortie. So yep big difference in accepted colours.Originally Posted by Abymummy
Think Siamese vs. Colorpoint Shorthairs. Same thing - Burmese only come in four colors : Sable, Champagne, Blue and Platinum (per CFA). E. Burmese run the whole gamut of colors.
BUT it goes further than that. There is a distinct difference (at least to me) in the doming (the forehead). The Burmese (American) have a slightly knobbly head which can actually be seen in pictures whereas the E. Burms have a smoother dome.
Maybe GK can add more

Good job! I was surprised at how extreme the Russian Blue was. (IMO) But I'm pretty amateur at cat breeds.Originally Posted by AlleyGirl

I can't believe I got the other one!I love the Korat. They are so cute.
i know, but someone had already guessed blue mackeral tabby, so i didn't want to guess that again. did anyone ever win that one? i never saw who got itOriginally Posted by GoldenKitty45
Laureen - its a blue mackeral tabby - not a spotted on. The stripes are partially broken but it would not be a spotted one. Charlie is a SPOTTED tabby
