I would have guessed blue smoke too. Maybe he's just a blue?

He is a blue - but he must have either fever coat or kitten coat, cause it really looks more blue smoke to me

I've seen blue persian kittens with much better pictures - where its an even blue on the entire cat.

No such thing as blue smoke. Here are the legal colors of Persian (according to CFA):

• Solid Color
• Silver and Golden (silvers are also known as Chinchillas)
• Shaded and Smoke
• Tabby
• Particolor (tortoiseshell varieties)
• Bicolor
• Himalayan (also known as Colorpoint Longhair)

So, I will guess Shaded and Smoke

Actually my sister has a blue Aby, so I am used to poor quality pictures and what she actually looks like in person. So that is why I guessed him as blue.

I will add however, notice how I won't touch that Persian's color with a 10 foot pole!

It is a beautiful cat, but I don't know anything about the variations. If I had to guess I would say a shaded silver. ( back to throwing darts with my eyes closed

Persi,

You posted the Color CLASSES of the persian - not the specific colors. Under the Shaded/Smoke section you would have the different colors - black, blue, red/cameo, silver, etc.

So there IS such a thing as a blue smoke - remember I've been showing for over 25 years - I'd better know my colors

Here are some pictures (kitten/adult) of blue smoke where you see the whitish under coats on a kitten - the picture Aby posted sure looks similar to these

Let me see if I can get this straight. According to the CFA, I have a Persian breed of the color class Himalayan? OK, now I think I am getting it, Persi's color class is Himalayan and his color is seal-point?

Yep, you are learning Persi

For example (in ACFA), Charlie would be Tabby-Spotted as the "Class" and Chocolate as the "color"

Besides I was entry clerk for shows when in the cat club - so I had to decipher the correct classes/color, etc.

Don't worry - I won't hold it against you

Persi - Under CFA you have a Persian cat (Breed) under the Himalayan Division and his color class is seal point.
