My vet always said the best way to get an accurate and positive test for pancreatitis is during an attack or flare up. My vet's "cocktail" for a flare up was sub q fluids with cerenia, B12, another fast acting anti nausea drug that i can't remember or find online, and sometimes buprenorphine a really good and safe opioid for cats is he was in pain.
I can't remember her creatinine level (at work now) but it was within the normal range. I do have appetite stimulants, she had one yesterday morning (only supposed to give her 1/4 pill every 3 days).
The vet wants to see her again...said Mia is acting like she has pancreatitus even though the test was negative. Also wants to try an ultrasound in case there's a blockage that the x-rays didn't show. The vet also suggested morphine because Mia looks really uncomfortable and I haven't seen her sleep.
I don't know what to think.
