Just got off the phone with the vet and Claire's just fine.
She said Claire's gingivitis wasn't near as bad as she thought, no extractions were necessary and her teeth are in good shape.

So, I'll be headed out in an hour or so to pick my angel girl up and get home where she belongs! Thanks for the vibes from Claire and me. You guys are the best!

I'm happy to hear it went well! Claire will certainly be happy to get back home, and will probably be a little "angel" for a few hours, at least. I love that siggy!

So glad everything went well!

When we have to take the kitties to the vet, we put their bed in the crate, and the vet takes them in the crate, and puts the whole thing in the cage. This way while it's terrifying, they're a little "safer" and more comfortable in the crate in the cage and with their own smell.

Great idea! I'll do that the next time. Will definitely help her feel safer.

We're home now and Claire's under the bed, still a little out of it, but I got her to purr and she let me pet her a little. I'm sure she's glad to home!

Thanks again, everybody!

She was still a little tired this morning, but being very sweet and affectionate. She perked up quite a bit and came running when I popped open their wet food, so I'd say she's just about back to normal.

I'm so glad all went well - and she's eating and happy - and appreciates being home.
