She's only been on the k/d for a month and has had the bladder problem for about 3 months, so the k/d definitely isn't the cause of the stones currently. I don't think we'll be able to take her off of the k/d either given her kidney condition.Originally Posted by cloud_shade
The first link I sent mentioned that phosphorous should not be restricted in cats with calcium oxalate crystals, and I would guess that the k/d is likely low in phosphorus. I wouldn't suggest jumping to any conclusions until after you get the results though.
