Vegan cats?

I been putting alittle sugar in the water for the ferals outside. It is suppose to hold off freezing longer. The absolutely like it. But if sugar is a problem I will stop?

I'm sure that's fine. They can probably use the additional energy in the cold.

"Sugar" isn't "by definition" bad for cats. All carbs break down into sugars. It's just not as efficient a process in cats, and a heavy carb load most likely takes a toll on organs over time. But they can use the energy from carbs, and they need the water that isn't frozen in winter.

PETA is implementing a winter dog shelter program. They install proper winter doghouses for outdoor dogs.
I wish there was smth similar for cats

I don't think these are applicable for peta worldwide. Maybe local ones. But I did have cst support programmes in the past 2 years that I've been on peta France's newsletter.
