Whenever Josh is in the hospital they dont allow live flowers/plants or latex balloons on the oncology floor let alone the ICU. However, the times he did spend in the ICU, he was allowed to have his favorite stuffed bear and action figure... But wasnt allowed any balloons (even mylar).

The card sounds like a wonderful idea too. I imagine it will mean a lot to him to know how many people are pulling for him!

Josh's children's hospital has a place on their website where they can deliver e-cards to the room. He always looks forward to the daily delivery of messages and pictures.

Lee underwent a surgical procedure to drain the fluid from his lungs today! From what they told me, it should improve his condition very quickly, so with any luck, he may be doing a lot better soon.

He had just been taken to surgery when I arrived to deliver the card I made from all of us, so I didn't get to see him... but I left it on the table in his room, and one of the aides promised to make sure he noticed it.

I've been trying to figure out a way to show you the card, but it's such a huge file that I can't post it anywhere! The "card" was in the form of a scroll about five feet long... a little rhyme and a list of all our names, with kittyfaces scattered among the verses.

Here below is the text, followed by a consolidated image showing the header and some of the kittyfaces all grouped together (these are additional kitties I made back when I did the Chat Noir for the gift icons).

To Our Friend Lee!

Please get well, and pronto!
