Made a new thread because the old one is huge and probably intimating/awkward to read.
He'd quit the baby food yesterday. Freaked me out, since he was really into it for a few days.
He ate wet food this morning, not just the gravy. After med wore off, he ate most of a pouch again!
He's chatty and bouncy again. His eyes are still awful and his back legs are still weak, but he doesn't care. And his weird bouncy step is kind of cute.
I still don't plan to take him to the vet; he can't have surgery, his heart murmur could only get worse. I'm going to go on his instinct alone (my older thread explains what happened the last time he had a rigorous drug schedule of any kind). But, I think his quality of life is going up for the short term and I get to spoil him more.
He's so sweet and I'm not taking his over-affection (omg, when he was young, it was *beyond*) for granted right now.
***I should add, if something acute happens, he goes straight to the vet.
