an earwig... I don't want to search pictures because they're really gross. They have a long flat body, long antannae, and pinchers on their butt.
*shudder*.
If my cats are going to track down bugs, I prefer the potato bug. It's harmless and non gross looking. It looks like a teeny-tiny armadillo
