In all my years with myriad cats, I have twice stepped on kittens who ran under my feet.


My first roadkill was a squirrel who actually ran into my tires!

Probably bugs, though most are intentional. One time I thought I ran over a little squirelly but when we had turned around and were coming back he finally got up and ran out of the road!!!

That happened to me when the monarchs migrated through my area this past year, except I hit hundreds of them. It was totally unavoidable, but I still felt horrible. It happened for 2 days and I was so glad when the migration ended. It was beautiful to watch them but driving was awful.

Never! I'm more likely to kill myself! Living in the country for most of my life and now in an area with crazy cats and squirrels and dogs running free, I ALWAYS have my wits about me!
