Sending many, many vibes to Lucia and calming vibes to you.

Okay I just called back they said she's out of surgery and bundled up in 2 blankets, and her eyes are open but of course she's dopey they said I can come and get her at 4...but most people can't come till 5
Whatever that means
My Vet doesn't keep cats overnight for a spa or neuter, unless there was an issue.

I think there should be a general traffic advisory issued for the Lexington area. Watch out for the lady heading to the vet to pick up her baby!

great news!
i like taking them home the same day - just makes me feel better to have them where i know they're being monitored closely.

I feel the same way Laureen, only because there would be no one with her if she stayed at the vet all night and when would she be fed

She is finally asleep on the hearth, she just wouldn't lay down and get comfortable and I was so nervous, but she's okay now

Thank you all for your good thoughts

Awwww glad she's out of surgery and at home to recover - I much prefer vets that let the kitties go home same day, there's no need to keep them overnight, and they are much more comfy at home!

Did she get surgical glue or actual stitches?

Since they did her late, she'll probably be sleepy for a while. You watch though, she'll be barrelling through the house in no time and you'll be trying to slow her down

She got actual stitches but I had to really look for them they are white. She's so uncomfortable because she keeps moving now like she just can't find the right spot but she's not wobbly at all...I'm starting to freak out I want David to hurry home
He's better at this stuff than me.
They said no jumping for 5 days...WHAT she's a kitten
