Yes and have. DH and I moved from New York to Colorado in 1993 without ever having been there before. If (when really) I leave Florida, at the top of the destination list is southern California. I have never been there. I will NOT live anywhere that gets snow in the winter ever again so the list is short. I'd move to Hawaii in a second if I thought I could find a good job there. If I won Powerball, I'd buy a private island in the Bahamas and turn it into a cat/Kat paradise for my furkids, ferals in need from the Caribbean area and ME of course. No cat haters allowed.
My luggage has been lost so many times I can't even begin to count them. The best airline at handling it was by far American. They brought my bag to me.
Would you ever blow the whistle on a friend who had committed a white collar crime? For instance, if a friend took out a bunch of credit cards and ran them up to the limit with the intention of filing bankruptcy?
No, I won't lie about it. They're called Mental Health Days and there's a reason for them. If I call my boss and tell him that I'm sick, he gets it. And if I call my boss and tell him that I'm taking a Sick Day, but don't mention that I'm sick, he gets that, too. I figure I might take one or two Mental Health Days a year. And with my job, I don't feel guilty in the slightest.
Have you ever left a restaurant without paying your bill? Don't laugh; I know people who have done so.
No I haven't but I never had service worthy of non-payment. I know someone had to pay for the food that we ate so I at least will pay for said food and leave a small tip but I usually speak up before it got to that point.
