CarolPetunia AMAZINGLY GOOD IDEA!
I really can get behind this.
No. Va, willing to foster kittens 5 to 12 wks.
someone else would have to take over to place
at that point, that's the huge problem that i have.
I am overwhelmed with caring for cats, so I've no
time for placing, not to mention easy access to
a Petsmart Adoption Clinic...you have to have a group
behind you to do that.
Anythoughts or suggestions on how to get that off
the ground would be great.
So would help getting an FIV+ SHOWING site, where
these wonderful cats could be shown to the public
and the public could be educated about the misconceptions
they have of the disease. NO reason these cat's should
not have the same adoptablity that others have?
But this is a great idea for the smaller one or
two rescues per year person - help with the fostering.
Right now, our Humane Society is struggling to
find fosters. The problem? IMHO they take
forever to approve, are VERY VERY strict (overly
so IMHO) and they turn people away who would
do only 1 or 2 litters a year.
They want "year round"
committment. IMHO this means folks who would
help out don't due to lack of time... but they COULD
be very valuable resources....
Thoughts anyone?
