so after much looking and lots of debating I bought the Natural Balance Ultra premium food...mainly because it's all life stages and it's corn free. To refresh I have two cats that insist on eating each other's food. I have them on Authority Brand and one is eating kitten and the other adult. It concerned me that they were eating each other's food despite my efforts to feed them separately.
Well neither of them seem to like the NB dry food at all. They ate the wet fine, but they both like any wet food it doesn't matter. I have been putting a little less than the normal amount of Authority food I give them and making up the difference with the NB food, but they seem to be eating around the NB food. When I put it in their bowls they turn up their noses until they get hungry enough and then eat around the new stuff.
I paid $15.99 for 6 pound bag and got three cans of wet food free. That's a doable price for me, but I can't go too much above that.
Should I look for another all life stages or get a sensitive stomach one? Whisper vomited twice in the last month and someone mentioned that Siamese mixes can have a sensitive stomachs. It just doesn't seem like there are a lot of options when it comes to all life stages.
Would it hurt to feed Kiki a kitten food or Whisper an adult food? Kiki is 13 months old and Whisper is 3 months old.
