I am sorry for your losses. I have lost both of my parents, as well. And I also had issues with my mom. She loved me dearly, but didn't much like me. I wouldn't tow her line. LOL, I did TOE her line, however...she'd draw one in the sand and I would immediately stick all ten toes over it!

Yeah, I had issues with my mother as well. I was just the middle child and did not matter much to her or my brother and sister. They are very close to each other and I seem to get excluded from everything. That is why I hate to see the holidays coming. It gets lonely.

You sound like you were stubborn when you were young. LOL.
