I made a cherry pie that turned out really well. My sister had brought a premade one for Thanksgiving that just wasnt that good, so I was craving a homemade one and had a can of pie filling in the cupboard. Just a Pillsbury crust but I doctored the top up with an egg wash and sugar and it turned out light and flaky.
