Well I shouldn't be mad at the dog, it's not his fault it's his owners, the neighbor didn't train him and leaves him loose to cause trouble.
This dog has killed several chickens at the other neighbors (where he acually got the dog, a blue healer from) He (the neighbor that buys animals and sold the dog to my other neighbor) gets all kinds of animals at auctions and resells, not an ethical breeder, just a buyer and reseller, it's also where I got my horse from, the neighbor doens't let these horses get in this condition, he gets them from an auction and resells them.
Well mabey 15 times a day I am yelling at the dog or the kids to take the dog home because he is chasing the horses again
he pins them against the fence or in the barn. A couple times they have fallen.
This evening she fell. When I heard the dog barking and looked out I saw her try twice to get up and fall back down, I knew she couldn't get up and thought she broke her leg, I ran out and hollered at the kids to take him home (of course they didn't) She tried several times to get up and fell back down when she finally got to her feet she stagered and was completely disoriantated. She couldn't keep her footing and stumbled for a minute or two be fore loosing her balence and going down again. All I saw was the blood, it was every where I thought she had cut herself up in the fence (barbed wire) it was running all down her neck, chest and legs. I saw her fly mask was riped and her head was bleeding, she must have hit her head on a rock when she went down all the blood was from her head and when we tried to get the fly mask off she lost her balance when I pulled it and fell over I was pinned between the two 1000 lb horses as she was falling over I bearly got out of the way when she just floped to the ground on her side with a thud. I was freaking and bawling and wanted some one to shoot her, I couldn't stand to see her like that and was even begening to wonder if she was seeing because she seemed to have such a gash on her head. I didn't know what kind of head trama she might have had. it was aweful. the vet took forever to get here, and she started standing better and eating by time he came, but I still wonder how good a dignoses was from a vet examining my horse by head lights at 9:00 at
night. But he said give her a week and gave me some meds for him, keep every one away for a couple days in case she falls and keep her out of the barn, if she falls in there we wont be able to get her up.
I don't know what to do about this dog
I'm going crazy, oh and BTW the neighbor is my boyfriends brother. There isn't much I can do
sorry to have such a long vent sesion here
