Stephanie - I usually sleep on my side. But when they removed the mole just before Christmas I swear I didn't move an INCH all night. When I woke up the next morning I was stiff as a board

Don't worry, everything will be just fine. I had surgery as well, and even thought I was frightened before, it turned out to be no big deal. Try not to think about it, if possible.

Thanks Jenny and Tricia. When I had the surgery before Christmas, I worked at home the next day and went to do a full day teaching two days after surgery. My boss has drawn the line this time (and I asked for the time off) and I'm having my first sick leave in all my nine years at the University. So I'll be enjoying this restful time.

Well I'm here after the fact, aren't I? I'm sorry. I knew you were having your surgery the Monday after you were back from Paris. I'm so glad that you are feeling well enough (at least for now) to be up and typing and that everything turned out well.

Fran - a couple of times yesterday I posted something and it would take ages just waiting to send then not actually get through and I had to type it all over again. I thought it was just my computer being stupid (not unknown) but maybe there was a problem at the other end.
