Clothes all over the floor. Clean and dirty. I've given up. He does keep them separated, so he doesn't wear the dirty clothes by accident. At least it stays on his side of the bed.
Lights - always on. I'm not sure if he knows that the light switches go down.
Trash. Can't take it out. Can't even take the bag out of the can. Just balance things precariously on top, and if that doesn't work, just put packaging on the counters... (It's not gross stuff he does this with, just things like bags, cardboard cartons, and cheese wrappers.).
Mostly "guy" things, really. When we first moved in together I learned more about my father than I had ever known! I would call Mom and complain about stuff, and she would just laugh and tell me that Dad did the same things. She did train Dad really well, though. And I'm working on Earl. It only took 2 years to get him to close the shower curtain after a shower.
