I’m dealing with scarf and barf with one of my cats. I don’t give them a lot of dry food but when I do she almost always gobbles it down and then throws it up a bit later. This seems to be my best option so far but wanted to see if anyone has something else they’ve liked.

here's another thread about your question with other ideas. Best slow-feeders? To slow one of my guys down, I put his bowl on top of a large can to make it higher up, and I put less food in it. (I guess that doesn't necessarily slow him down, but it definitely helps with his scarf and barf to feed less per meal) You can also put a clean golf ball or something that size in the bowl so they have to eat around it. Or you can make them have to really work for their food by making a food puzzle our of something like a yogurt container with a lid on it and cut a couple small holes in it (if you are going to feed kibble) so they have to roll the container around to get the pieces to fall out.
