Hey everybody, need some advice. One of my co-workers just told me about a woman on her street who has decided she no longer wants her one-year-old (possibly declawed) cat. Apparently she's tired of cleaning the litterbox.
Anyway, she put the cat outside a couple of days ago, hoping he would just "go away." She's not feeding him, but other neighbors are.
For someone to be so ignorant and irresponsible is beyond me. I'm so torn about getting involved in this at any level. I can't bear to think what might happen to this cat and certainly want to help. I care about the cat, not the person! But, I have my hands full with my own and I know our rescue group is already over capacity with kittens. Also, I'm going out of town in a couple of weeks and have tons to get done before then. I just don't have the time
to take this on, but somebody needs to do something! Please help me decide what to do!
