Should I get involved?

Sorry for not updating sooner, but have been stuck at home with strep throat (not fun)

The last I heard from my co-worker was that one of the neighbor's whose
older cat recenty passed away was considering taking in the young cat if the so-called owner was agreeable. I'd just take him at this point.

I really can't do anything else until Mon. Will follow up on the situation then.
If things haven't changed, I'm going to go scout out the neighborhood myself and see I if I can locate the cat. Will also get the SPCA involved.

Am sorry to hear that u're sick with strep throat! REST as MUCH as u can...

I do HOPE that neighbor will take that poor cat in.. Keep us posted.

But first, u need to take care of urself..
Rest this weekend.. Like u said, u can't do anything till Mon so rest...

How about someone takes this woman outside and changes her locks and then hope she just "goes away"!!!

The neighbor did decide to take the cat. Sounds like a good home where the cat will be kept inside.

I'm glad this worked out, but it still shouldn't have happened. I get so tired of irresponsible, ignorant people thinking it's acceptable to just stop caring for their pets.

Thanks to everyone for all your support (seems like I say that a lot!)

SOOOO glad to hear that you're feeling better AND that the neigbor took that cat in!!! You're right- it shouldn't have happened BUT you did try to help!

We need more people like you and that neighbor who took the cat in..
