Thank you so much for checking up on Shane for me Sarahp.

It is good to hear that he is welcome to stay as long as he wants at the foster home even if it turns out to be a permanent stay.
My friend is going to inquire about him this weekend and maybe put in an application.
She has two other male cats, one is a laid back Siamese, the other is an orange boy about the same age as Shane.
I'm hoping that they may be a good match for Shane.
I will let you know when I hear anything new.
Please keep us updated on Shane's checkup and any other news from his foster home.

Over the years, those kitties became special to most of us and to hear that they are being cared for and so well makes my heart fill with love. Hope is looking down and smiling on the good people that made this possible.

I can just see that handsome Shane peeking over the edge of that shelf with love in his big, beautiful blue eyes.

What a wonderful update!
It sounds like Shane is in a place where he can heal and find comfort after losing Hope.

Here's another update from his checkup:

Shane went to the doctor today and seems pretty healthy. He has a heart
murmur, but that is expected with his age. He does need some dental work but
might not tolerate that so the vet is running lab work on him to see just
how healthy he is.

He was brave today. And now he's happy to be back home!

Glad to hear his check up went well. He really is being looked after well by his foster mom. It's so lovely that Sun Lee has a snuggle buddy now! What a wonderful ending to this sad story for these two kitties.

Another thanks from me, Sarah. I want to
Shane. I've always adored him. I love that last bit about him always having a home there. He's a tired old man now and he just wants to spend his life peacefully.

Is he on a special diet or does he need any medication?
He is a pretty big cat isn't he?

I don't know. If someone is interested, they should contact Siamese Rescue directly
