Don't feel bad, I'm still not sure on the whole gnome thing!
Well thank you for that information. If anyone has anything else to add feel free
.

I never feel bad for my lack of popular culture knowledge or I would ALWAYS feel bad

You haven't been doing your homework!
Here's the 2009 Secret Santa gifts thread where the llama incident happened: http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=206520

And Kim (Kluchetta) was the recipient of the "Llama fur" clue. It starts on p. 18.

And Sarah (SarahP) was my "gifter" and she sent stuff from all over the country LOL. She even sent me a French Franc to throw me off. That's why the llama she did eventually give me is named Francois!

I wonder if Butterbean would be jealous of a goat? Hmm...we'll just have to take a chance and see...

I recall the gnome thing started way back when someone mentioned they didn't care for gnomes. Kinda snowballed from there.

Doesn't take much to amuse some of us.

Anyone planning some sneaky shipping this year? I had a blast helping being a sneaky shipper!!!!! That was tons of fun even though I got mad at my post office for not putting the stamp that says where it came from...stupid post office. LOL
Are you the one responsible for my minor freak out that my SS was ACTUALLY stalking me IRL lol No post mark or anything on that package!

Oh yes, my lucky Santee will be receiving a Llama from me this year!!

I volunteer to ship for anyone that wants to throw someone off.
I have actually seen a few free on-line patterns..... not that i've looked

I may have goated kim (KLuchetta) a LITTLE when she started on the whole llama jag..... then I may have informed her SS - SarahP lol

i missed the gnome thing too... i know until llamas started riding them, they were more "unwanted" creatures than the fun-loving chocolate and booze bearing friends they now are
lol

I'm pretty sure Karen (AbbysMom) is disgusted and freaked out by gnomes...LOL...so we started threatening to send her gnomes....and that's how a tradition is started!

I must remind everyone that Danielle crochetted (sp?) my furbabies a lovely llama filled with catnip last year as one of my secret santa gifts. He's a bit worse for wear by now, but he's still with us. Right now he's up resting on one of the cat trees. I would take his picture, but he's on the bedroom cat tree, and DH is in there sleeping at the moment.
