Yes, we lived in an area with a lot of gang activity, drug dealing, pitbulls, people driving fast, etc. It was not a place I would want cats to have to eke out an existence, which is why we put so much work and love into earning the trust of the matriarch and getting her, and as many of her offspring and street buds, spayed/neutered, baseline innocs, checkups, and a safe, secure place with us for life.
