Hello! A coworker who lives on a farm told me about a 9 week old kitten he had that he accidentally ran over with his car TWO FULL weeks prior... He said he didn't think he was going to make it before but now the kitten was active again... I immediately went and picked him up.. His name is Felix.. Felix walks around just fine.. I was shocked to meet him but when I felt his hips I could tell they were not right and his tail hung limply at his side.. I took him to the vet and they confirmed his pelvic bone was broken cleanly in three places and there was damage to his sacrum.. The question I have is about his urine and fecal incontinence.. They said there was a good chance this would go away as he healed and got bigger but there is also a real chance it won't... Opinions on this? Is only been a day since he went to the vet and this morning he went into his litterbox specifically to per AND managed to have a little come out! That had to be encouraging right? I'm still trying to get the hang of expressing him but don't want him to have reduced quality of life Yada Yada... Don't want him to sit around all the time needing to pee either... Anyway thoughts? Comments? Is there resources to safe cat diapers?
