I hate to vacuum because it's so hard to do after my surgery - I can't stand without support, but I do like to get all the black fur up from my beige carpets. Yesterday I had to empty the canister three times, and I have a small house. But it looks so nice without a layer of black fur.

I enjoy cleaning. My favorite tasks are wiping the bathroom vanity tops and faucets so that they shine. A very easy task, but it looks so nice. I enjoy washing clothes, but I hate unloading the drier.My paternal great-grandfather started a commercial steam laundry in the late 1800's, so laundry is literally in my DNA, LOL! (I don't think he ever actually did the laundry himself ; he employed Irish women first, then fired them because they went on strike so much, then he hired Chinese men, which worked out much better for everyone. He treated them well, too.)

I don't mind cleaning our three toilets. It's very easy and fast to do, and I enjoy seeing that white ceramic shine.
