Pancakes, definitely. I just like the cakey texture over the texture of waffles.
...and you can make waffles with it too!
If I had to choose, waffles may have a slight edge.
I always wanted to try waffles with it, but I don’t have a waffle maker! Hmm. Perhaps Santa will bring one.
Easy.... Waffles
Mostly because pancakes are one of those things that upset my stomach. Don't ask me why waffles don't and pancakes do. I can eat a waffle and be happy tummy, I eat pancakes and sad tummy 95% of the time. Best guess is something with the slight difference in how it cooks because thin pancakes are okay, I really don't know beyond pancakes are a bad idea.

pancakes would be my first choice, with real maple syrup. but sometimes i might like a waffle, though i don't have a waffle iron.
