Hello everyone. It's May! We've had lots of rain this week and everything is starting to look really fresh and green again.

:bliss:

If your cats were dogs, what breed would they be?

I thought about this because one of my neighbours has a lovely border collie that looks just like Hiro. Almost identical markings and the same personality. Really smart, really friendly, but you have to keep him entertained if you don't want him to start destroying things.

See the resemblance? It's uncanny, isn't it?

I think most of my black and white boys would be collies if they were dogs.

Carpet and her sister Twinkle would be Pekinese. They both have the short tails and the little turned up nose and Carpet snorts when she's happy.

Forest cat would be a Pyrenees, because he's white and fluffy. He's also laid back and has a tendency to snore, which a lot of Pyrenees do.
:heartshape:

Heidi and Jiro would be Shiba inu. They have similar markings and short, curly tails.

The rest of them would be some kind of high energy mix.

Except for Little Boy. Little Boy would be a seal.

Wow, good question! I’ve never seen a dog and a cat look so similar.

In terms of looks, Eden would be this brindle dog:

I don’t know a ton about dog breeds, but this dog has a very similar coat color to her.

Willow would be this also brindle dog. They seem to be a similar build and color (although I guess Willow is a bit chubbier):

And Pants would be this dog:

They have markings in similar places, although Pants’ are a bit bigger and more grey than black.

I’m sure I way overthought this question, but it was fun :)

Maisie would be like a mix between a chihuahua and a pug. She's skittish like a chihuahua but she's not an a**hole. I hate chihuahuas with a passion, so I needed to mix her with a more likable dog like a pug.
Flora would probably be a Labrador. She's friendly and sweet and very energetic.
Remy would be a German Shepherd. He's protective but is also often very sweet.

I was just looking at Nilah and thinking how incredibly dainty she looked.. so much like a little princess (her nickname). I think she'd be a cross between a Shetland Sheepdog and a Whippet.
Sundar's a Labrador... big, boofy and loves his food.

I don't know much about a lot of bog breeds but I'll go with what I do know....

Bynx would be a mix between a Black Lab and a Weimaraner. He's long and lean with black coarse (yet soft) short fur. He's very energetic, friendly and lovable but as a dog I think his energy might be a little over the top and would need a LOT of exercise. He's smart and trainable and would be a great hunting companion....(not that I hunt).

Chester would be a Lab (blond). He's smart, energetic and playful but very easy going and lovable. He would be perfectly content with a daily walk some playtime and cuddles at the end of the night. Chester also has that loving devotion look to his eyes when he looks at you.....It doesn't translate well in photos....

And I think Lily would be a Golden Retriever. She's loyal, lovable and smart. Her fur is a bit longer and very soft. She's also nurturing and definitely has a gentle protectiveness about her but will be a bit goofy at times.

My cat has a sweet side and a very michevious side. I think when she is at her most sweetest she reminds me of a Cocker Spaniel. When she is at her most hyper and michevious, she reminds me of a Jack Russell Terrier (that's the breed if dog Eddie was on Frazier).

Hopefully, one day I will have a doggie or two until then I have my little kitty wh I love to bits.. :redheartpump::redheartpump::redheartpump::redheartpump:
