Good evening! :wave3: And Happy Friday (even if it is late)! :yess:

I came home from work at noon today with a heckuva headache. Got home, took The Beast out to pee, gave the kids lunch, and went to bed. Stayed there until about an hour ago. And realized I hadn't done the QoTD. Apologies. I am sorry.

If you could plant any flower at all outside your front door right now, what would it be?

I saw some gorgeous orange roses on FB that caught my eye. I'd love to plant them.
What about you?

I would plant sunflowers. I used to have some as a small child and was so fasinated by their growth. It was devistating when they died. I'd plant a whole bunch just for the nostalgia. Also, I love seeing those giant ones out front in people's yards. They look so cartoonish.

An hibiscus would be great. They are annuals here and expensive so I admire them in the store but have never purchased.

I love roses, and right now I have a beautiful pink peace rose bush growing and it's several years old.I've always wanted a Tropicana rose...maybe that might be my Mother's Day.

Ohhh, roses are my favorite. My favorite one of many is Bride's Dream.

But another favorite is Sunset Celebration.

It's unusual because it looks like this most of the year, but in the fall, when the light changes, it turns into swirls of peach, pink and yellow. Absolutely stunning.

Unfortunately, it's so difficult to grow roses here in Illinois, I've given up growing them. These photos are of my own roses.

Then you would love Veteran's Honor. This isn't the best photo, but it's mine. It is a classic exhibition rose, fragrant, and very long-lasting the vase. Probably the best red rose for the home grower.

If I could include a little pool, I'd love a lotus.

I know that feeling all too well, hope you feel better soon. :hugs:

The squirrels dig up my tulip bulbs so I'd love to see some multi-colored tulips.

This rose. I am just entranced:

If it were possible, I'd paint my front door to match.
