Nope. She's a lot further north than Bainbridge Island. I'm not sure where the ferry goes, except to an island, and there are several nearby. It could be Vancouver Island. That's at least large enough to rate a ferry (and quite beautiful, as I recall from my childhood). I found information online about the ferry terminal in her town, but it didn't say where the other end was -- presumably, anyone who needs that information knows exactly where they're trying to go. The town is Anacortes, for anyone who lives nearby and wants to weigh in here.Out of curiosity () I googled a few key words from your story and.....
