Val, I am so thrilled for you. Congrats on getting a black kitty again. I know he won't replace Isadora and never could, but you'll love him just as fierce as you do all your cats. You're a great kitty mommy, and that cat just became one of the luckiest in the world. Congratulations girl!
Good news Val! I hope this little guy checks out OK. What a great vet to think of you. He knew you would take good care of this little guy. It's nice to know you have a vet that saves kitties.
Aww! That's nice of your vet. I think Vet feels awful about it and do think of you since he knows you love cats..
Glad that he has black kittens that you wanted...
Remember that Isadora knew you are there for her.. She knows she was in a safe place where she can be rested and she is always in your heart..
Val, welcome to the world of ferals and rescue, LOL! I TOLD you once you get to know your vet, it's a potential that they'll help a lot. I'm so glad it's working that way for you!
Other things to consider... chatting with the staff, we found out that the vet we like best really likes red wine. So we dropped off a bottle once for him. ANd whenever we have an emergency on Saturday night, we bring one with us.
Other things to do are leave little tips with the staff, or buy lunch for the whole office...or if that's too expensive a proposition, drop off brownies or cookies for "the office" occassionally.
Believe me, they'll go out of their way for you, they'll always remember you, and they'll always try to help you!
Our vet has standing orders to call us if anyone wants to put down a cat for anything other than health reasons. We've helped save two cats this way.
