So ever since I had, well, Prince, the closet has always been a place the cats have enjoyed going into for some strange reason. I have two closets directly across from each other, one hangs all my shirts and the other hangs all my pants, that closet also has the two carrying kennels and the vacuum cleaner.
Nikita has since learned to open the door to that second closet and likes to go in and lay down behind the vacuum cleaner. I keep shooing her out of there, but she keeps going into it. I don't think it's for shelter because she does it on calm days and moments when both of them are tired and laying around.
I can't figure what keeps attracting her to that closet, and I personally don't like her going in there because it's easy to not realize she's in there (I did that once with Prince, closed the closet door after getting something out and never realized he was in there until Nikita was sitting outside of it and I heard him meowing), so honestly any thoughts as to what could be drawing her into that one? She doesn't go into the other closet at all, just that particular one.
