That is just huge!!!! I have a feral/stray that I brought into my home 2 years ago in May. The first year he lived in a room of his own as he was so freaked out. After one year, he finally was able to adjust to our home and other animals and is now out and about 100% of the time. He is still skittish and afraid of loud noises. Yet, his best time is night time. He will get on our bed and sleep with us. At first it was just like Yuki, on the bed staring. Then he would jump off and run out of the room. Each night he stayed longer and longer. Of course our turning over at night scared him too. But he kept coming. He now sleeps in the bed most nights. He is still leery of my husband during the day, but when my husband is in bed laying down, Marvin just loves him. He purrs and loves him to pet him. I read once that feral/semi feral cats are much more relaxed around humans when they are laying down. It is much less threatening to them.
I appreciate the kind remarks of our progress.
Another update to remark. I woke up in the middle of the night, last night, sensing I was being watched for some reason. And I was right. Yuki was sitting on the bed to the left of me relaxing. However, she saw me looking over at her and she went back to her cave. lol
Now to have her do that while the light is on and when I am awake!
I am just so happy for you and Yuki!!!!!
