Does the mom still have mllk? See if she is interested in being inside with her kittens for awhile.

Unfortunately when my neighbor tried to transfer the mom to a larger crate, she booked it through a closing door. She escaped neighbor is gonna try to catch her again and update me!

Oooo...tough news about mama kitty escaping. They are good at escaping. 18 months ago, I had a kitten get away- slipped my grasp- and now she has had her 2nd litter. Meanwhile, my life circumstances have changed and until I can get new approval for s/n assistance, I cannot try trapping. I would recommend that your neighbor read as much as she can about re-trapping and transferring.
