I have two cats for the first time and I am getting so much enjoyment from them. The female came from a shelter and was thought to be a premature birth because of the very small size. I have learned that she has a dwarf gene and is not going to get any bigger. She is just under 5 lbs and is 1 year old. My other cat is just the opposite. He looks just like the pictures I have seen of Pixi-bobs. His mother is a feral domestic and father unknown. He looks just like a light colored bobcat with a regular tail. The vet listed him as a blond calico but his looks have changed now that he is about 8 months old. I will learn how to post a picture so I can get some input on this. He weighs 12 pounds already and can only eat canned and dry venison cat food. This took a while to figure out. He is very laid back and loves attention. He has never scratched or bitten me even while playing. I can't say so much for the other one, she is a playful cat that gives me these love nips and she plays hard. I just read today that a domestic and a bobcat do not make a Pixi-bob, but my cat looks exactly like the one on my cat magazine. My small cat is much more active than the bobcat and is vocal while the big one just chirps sometimes.
