Need quick advice - more storms soon

I hope everyone is safe.

We had a tornado warning last night and I was concerned about something. We had no rain, no really high winds but a warning nonetheless. There was no siren that sounded and nothing on the TV. I was watching NCIS on USA and the cable company did not put out a warning. I know they do because sometimes when I fall asleep with the TV on, the EBS test warning comes on once a week. I didn't know there were warnings out until this morning when I got a text from my manager making sure we were all ok.

Never have I heard of a Tornado in HP

Gee... When you think it is over.... they keep coming.... Tornado warning #1 ended, now #2 is up until 10:30... I just hope it is not like the one who went over our heads here in HP - that was kind of scary.... Will see if the TV is already up.....

Ok, seems for now we are safe... Just a severe thunderstorm watch and tornado watch - the warning was lifted though. There is a Tornado on the ground East of Dallas...
So far, there are only buildings damaged in Dallas/Denton....
Lives have been claimed in Oklahoma and KS tonight

, injuries have been reported, and lots of people lost their homes

.

I am seeing this after the fact, but my prayers are with you and your kitties and of course, all of those who were devestated by these tornadoes.
