I am so happy to see that your mom made it through just fineGosh John sorr I missed this post.
My mother was diagnosed with state III ovarian cancer shortly after I became engaged.
I will be celebrating my 24th wedding anniversary and mom is doing great.
She too lost her hair and weight but I worked with a nutritionist and we had her consuming 5000 calories a day (powdered milk mixed with whole milk for 3000 cal/day!)
If she needs some support from someone who has been there my mom has spoken with many women about her experience with ovarian cancer. Feel free to pm me if she is interested.
