I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts during this difficult time. I found this board to be a terrific source of support after I learned that my aunt died.

I am so sorry for your loss of your grandfather. As you say, I´m sure he wouldn´t have wanted to be living in a coma, so this is better alternative. It´s good that all this went peacefully.
What was your grandfathers name?

My grandfathers name was Arthur Hugo.

I can't thank you all enough for your wonderful support.

We are headed off to my uncle's funeral this afternoon, he passed on Feb. 12, 2004 of severe cancer.

At least they both are not suffering any longer.

I am so very very sorry to hear about both your grandpa and your uncle!! If you need to talk we are here for you. I am sedning up prayers for you. It is hard enough to lose one family member at a time, let alone two!!
