I don't get it because I've never seen it yet. I will eventually.

Well, like I said, this week's selection is a little late, so I'm going out on a limb to choose a movie that was suggested
Diner (1982)

Steve Guttenberg
Mickey Rourke
Kevin Bacon
Ellen Barkin
Paul Reiser
etc.

Quote from the www.imdb.com: "A group of college-age buddies struggle with their imminent passage into adulthood in 1959 Baltimore."

Tonight I am going to see "Melinda and Melinda" you know the new Woody Allen movie.

I saw Robots the other night, VERY good. Fresh and funny but also visually creative.

Thanks, Ryan! I was really hoping for a pick sometime today, 'cause if I don't pick one up tonight or tomorrow, I won't be picking one up!

I can barely remember that movie except for the paperboy hunting Cusack down... "I want my two dollars!"
Hilarious!

I haven't heard much of either movie, but I make a terrible movie buff anyway.

Bubba is ready anytime Saturday because he has nothing planned until the next Saturday. How does 8 your time sound? (That would be 7:00pm for me.)

It just may have. We'll have to colonize the moon, but we'll be just fine as long as the moon is really made of cheese like they say.

Ok, I haven't done the movie review thing with you guys before, but it sounds fun. So, if the video store has Diner, and my BF hasn't planned anything to entertain me, I might join you.

I couldn't find it at my favorite video store, but I'll get it at another one. Good luck if you decide to join us.

LAtest movies for me:

Melinda and Melinda B+ If you are a Woody fan you will like it and enjoy seeing him in a 05 world. Some current jokes are very funny, such as the NY neurotic is dating a political conservative, he tells her "I am a liberal, I hope that isn'ta problem, like if we ...you know... and then right in the middle of it we start to fight over tax cuts"

CLoser: C+ I didn't like it as much as the critics. Kind of one dimensional to me.

Robots: A- Great film! Visually really stunning and creative. Good charactors, very funny at time.
