More kittens to come?

Hello, my little mother cat had 5 beautiful babies yesterday morning but seems to still have more to come. Should her belly be hard still?

Her uterus may be lumpy still. If she has no more kittens her belly will soften over the next few days. Time will tell!

Thank you for your thoughts. We went to the local emergency center and their are no more babies. Mama is stressed though. I’m thinking it may be because of my dog pacing outside the room while I’m in with her. We have a male cat too and she’s been abusing him in defense of her coming babies. He’s shy and staying in his room for now. At least everyone is healthy!
