The first one I saw in Las Vegas in 1987 - Mystere, which remains my favourite. I saw Saltimbanco and Alegria in London, and then back in Las Vegas I saw a late night 'adult' show which I didn't like very much. I think Mystere was best for me because it was in a custom-built theatre, whereas the London shows were either in a large marquee or at the Albert Hall, and in neither case could the effects be brought off to the same extent. I have a DVD of Mystere.

It was just one of those moments. If I had got up from my chair to pass them and find the camera, they would all have moved.

Do you wear glasses?

How many hours, on average, per day do you spend on the computer? (excluding any work related computer job)

Are you a meat/potatoes person, or veggies/salad?

Do you have a sweettooth?

Sweet or salty snacks?

Full meals or snack type meals?

What do you like on your pizza?

If $ was not an issue, what would you get for your kitties?

What is the one beauty product you could NOT live without?

How much time do you spend on your hair? ( do you style it daily, or are you a ponytail girl?)

Do you wear makeup on a daily basis?

Are you enjoying being the Spotlight member?

Do you chew gum? If so, what kind?

What kind of unusual animal would you love as a pet? (assuming laws/price is not an issue... an animal/reptile/etc that you would never have, but think would make a nice pet)

OK CHris, here we go!

Do you wear glasses?

I am supposed to but hate the feel of them, so I wear them just for reading and computer work. Fortunately I am long sighted, so I can see to drive and the TV etc.

How many hours, on average, per day do you spend on the computer? (excluding any work related computer job)

Since I still work on a dial-up connection (I am waiting my new satellite installation) I try to keep it as short as possible. Around an hour, I would say.

Are you a meat/potatoes person, or veggies/salad?

More meat and potatoes, though I always include lots of veggies. I am not so keen on actual salad

Do you have a sweettooth?

Only for some things - like white chocolate. Usually I prefer savoury

Sweet or salty snacks?

Salty
Full meals or snack type meals?

a mix - lunch a snack, but proper dinner

What do you like on your pizza?

Don't like pizza much, but if forced, it must have anchovies and olives.

If $ was not an issue, what would you get for your kitties?

A whole field enclosure

What is the one beauty product you could NOT live without?

I don't use beauty products much, but probably my moisturising sun cream.

How much time do you spend on your hair? ( do you style it daily, or are you a ponytail girl?)

I wash it and leave it. It is cut short in summer and in a bob in winter to I don't need to style it.

Do you wear makeup on a daily basis?

No, never have. I don't even own a lipstick

Are you enjoying being the Spotlight member?

Good question. Yes, but it is a huge ego trip. It is also making me realise some things about myself I hadn't thought of. But who actually READS this stuff?

Do you chew gum? If so, what kind?

No, and I despise people who do, unless it is to help stop smoking.

What kind of unusual animal would you love as a pet? (assuming laws/price is not an issue... an animal/reptile/etc that you would never have, but think would make a nice pet)

Don't know really. I want a goat, though

1. Can you drive a motorcicle?...

My first ever vehicle was a 125 cc Lambretta. But I've never driven a more powerful 2 wheeler.

2 Worst injury you've ever had?...

It's a toss-uup between breaking my wrist or dislocating my shoulder.

3. Do you love where you live?...

Yes, I am in the happy position of being able to choose where I live and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else

4. How many TVs do you have in your house?....

Only one in my house, and two in the guest cottage.

5. Who is your loudest friend?...

Wellington

6. Do you have any pets?(apart of your kitts of course )…....

I have three Shetland ponies

7. Does someone have a crush on you?...

Not that I know of

8. Your favorite book(s)?

Difficult, but choosing one it would have to be Tolkien 'The Lord of the Rings'

9. Do you collect anything?...

CHristmas decorations, wall plates, small boxes (wood, ivory, enamel etc

10. What song do you want played at your funeral?

Dido's Lament from the opera 'Dido and Aeneas'

1, Uno, also called Cat -tabby
2. Rosie- longhaired calico, plus her five kittens till I found homes for them
3. Marmaduke - Red tabby
4. Oscar - half Siamese tuxedo
5. Pippin - Red tabby
6. Sheba - black and white, plus her four kittens, one of whom I kept
7. Sammy - Sheab's kitten, black and white
8. Cleo - long haired black
9. Juniper -black and white
10. Cinders - black medium hair
11. Dushka -black and white
12. Ellie - black
13. - Persil - white
14. - WEllington - white
15. Napoleon - white
16. Biscotte - muted tabby

20. Numerous fosters and cats 'passing through'

Breeds - I tend to prefer the Oriental shaped breeds, but a cat is a cat is a cat and I love them all.

Yes, sometimes I dream of cats, usually then I wake up and fine one lying on my face!

Some of my cats love catnip, others don't care. They do have it sometimes. Dushka is the one who gets off on it most.

Mine have Sanabelle Urinary Dry food and Whiskas or Gournet Gold wet.

I do work at a cat shelter, two days a week and I foster cats and kittens for them. Currently I have one adult cat and five kittens (not hers) who I am preparing for adoption.

8.- Wich one is your favourite colour to wear?

I wear many colours, but like purple, balck and white most.

9.- Do you have some earrings with shape of cat?

Yes, and brooches, but my ears are allergic so I can't wear them.

10.- do you have some blouse with stamps of cats?

No, but several T shirts and sweat shirts and socks with cats on them.

11.- do you collect or you have handcraft of kittys?

I have a number of ornaments and pictures with cats in them

12.- how many purses do you have?

If you mean handbags - Several old ones that need throwing out, but only one I use everyday.

TCS is a wonderful community of caring people who have many different cultures, opinions, and ways of life, but one thing in common - a love of cats. On TCS it is possible to agree or disagree a variety of thoughts and views, and share good and bad experiences, knowing you will never be laughed at (only with) and you can always find advice or a shoulder to cry on.

Thank you all for the experience of Being in the Spotlight. I have really enjoyed it, and will read others' weeks with a new respect, knowing how hard it is to answer some of the questions from the heart.
