How did you know he was "the one"?
I can relate - my husband and I pretty much lived with each other from the day we met. We had a lot of mutual friends, and when we finally met, we just kept hanging out together from that day on, day & night. Being with him was just the most natural thing in the world. However, neither one of us wanted to get serious with anyone for different reasons at the time, so we never really admitted (even to ourselves) that it was serious. One day we realized that we had been living together for all practical purposes for 6 months, we were a couple for the long haul whether we thought it was a good time for a relatonship or not, and finally got rid of the second (completely unused) apartment.Originally posted by Russian Blue
He felt the same and I moved in with him one week later! My mother almost fainted.
I think our relationship grew easily because there was never any pressures or false expectations. It just 'happened'.Originally posted by Suzy

The whiskers, socks, and forgetfulness will always be there...you learn to love it! Well, atleast I do because the thought of not having those for me to clean and remind him...I would just miss it to much!!Originally posted by NewtoCats
Wow, these stories are so amazing and romantic! I have been with my boyfriend for two years now and we moved in together in June this past spring. Last night, when Charlie jumped onto the bed for the first time himself, Jeremy stayed awake and snuggled him from 4am-6am. He thought it was really important that the cat knew that he was safe and secure when he came out from under the bed.
Melted my heart.
I have second thoughts sometimes because he isn't rich..he's a little forgetfull..he leaves whiskers in the sink and socks on the floor...but I think I am in for the long haul.
