I would guess they were stillborn. They were in the birth canal too long, most likely :(.

It might've been different if we'd just came straight home after grocery shopping.

I think you shouldn't blame yourself.

Honestly, those kittens needed to be born several days ago, and I was surprised the vet thought everything was fine today. She had multiple warning signs that something wasn't right.

I'm so sorry the kittens didn't make it.

AT least Marble is okay.  She's going to need lots of loving.  Let us know how she is doing.

My heart breaks for you. My cat Polka lost all 4 of her kittens July 12th so I know how hard it is. So so sorry you are experiencing this. :(

Maybe there are some motherless kittens that marble can feed. Your local cat home would know. I'm thinking of marble and any depression she may have at not having her kittens. Poor baby.

Adopting a friend for marble may not be a bad idea but because of marbles previous health issues, nursing kittens is probably a bad idea.

Hey everyone sorry i haven't been on in a few days. Marble is doing quite well, She is gaining her weight back after this past Saturday. I have her on kitten chow and wet cat food. However, i wanted to let everyone know that i adopted 2 beautiful 6 week old twin girls and marble has taken to them fondly as if they're her own kittens. To her, she doesn't seem to notice the difference. They are healthy, happy, and very playful. Haven't named them yet but i will post pictures.

Oh, I'm so glad!

Where did you find them?

It looks like they are nursing Marble as well. So glad she has taken to them. I'm also glad that Marble is eating and getting her health back. No seizures?

A perfect solution!  At six weeks a kitten still needs a mom.  How will you tell the girls apart?

They do nurse but are also eating kitten chow And wet cat food like marble is. They are healthy weights but will be small like their mom.
And no she's not had any since 2 weeks prior to having kittens. She's doing really good. As soon as possible, they'll be getting spayed.
I found them in Thonosassa north of Tampa on Sunday evening.

They are both very sweet looking kittens :).

They should be ready to eat wet food now too at six weeks.

No we found an ad for them and they were the only two left. The people were keeping the mom until they could see if someone in the neighborhood was her owner otherwise if i didn't already have sophie, my senior kitty i would've asked for her too. She was a lovely cat and they were very nice people.
