I'm happy because I am going for dinner with friends!
I'm happy because after spending 6 hours at the hospital with my MIL yesterday for her dialysis and looking around me, I appreciate how very fortunate I am. I'll try to remember that any time I feel the need to complain about some really petty thing.
I'm happy because the medicine & pulmonary rehab seems to be helping me a little bit!!
Earlier I was able to take Ranger and Macy on the longest walk we've had in quite a while because I could breathe a little better!
The dogs were quite happy and so was I!

I'm happy because I'm wearing boots with 4-inch heels today! (I haven't been able to wear boots with higher heels b/c of knee surgery...they've all been right around 2-1/2 inches). It's the little things sometimes.

There's a very long list of serious reasons to be grateful and happy, but they are all related to very personal things.
But what I will share here is that the kids did a GREAT job trick-or-treating and I'm still reaping the benefit! Last year there was lots of junk (pretzels? seriously?) This year was ChocoFest 2010!
So, yes...chocolate works for me!

I am happy that orange kitty is on my porch.
Orange kitty is the papa of my kittens. He comes around every couple of months for a good petting and some food. He is such a pretty kitty, looks alot like Morris.
One of these days when I get more money, I am going to take him to get fixed and bring him in.
Sometimes I think he is checking in on his babies.

I'm happy because it's the weekend, and I don't have too much college work to do!
And it's less than a month until December, yay, Christmas!!

I'm happy this morning because the Jewish side of my family doesn't keep Kosher to my knowledge! Background- Today is my Granny's 86th birthday! So, I'm making a huge homemade lunch to celebrate with everyone. Part of this meal includes my yummy 3 meat chili & rice among other things. It didn't dawn on me until about 5 minutes ago that the meal I've been working on all morning is definitely NOT Kosher

My new cellphone came in yesterday!
My brother and SIL spent the weekend at Niagara-on-the-Lake and came back with a pink wine bottle shaped like a cat! And it's for me! It will match my red bottle and my blue bottle. And when my SIL realized that I didn't have the white bottle, she found one on eBay and bought that for me, too!
The bottles contain a Riesling wine, which isn't all that great. But the bottles are really cool!

We ordered some new shoes and a new coat for hubby online, and they are waiting for me at my office!
I'm happy because we're 1 week away from getting our new floors installed in the house. We've been planning this for the last 4 years. We've chucked all the carpet and are putting in stranded bamboo - a surface that's about 10 times more sturdy than a hardwood floor. I tested the sample with cat vomit and water and it doesn't damage the finish!!
So no more smelly carpet!!
