Thanks, but I am not alone for this.. Imagine all the elderly!! I can't imagine how all this can be thrown at them.. I am a bit younger (61) and it just blows my mind.

I could vacuum, I could strip my bed, but I do not feel like it; after all I heard today.

The good thing is, what ever I have saved, which is not much, I will use towards healthcare. I do not have any dependents. So that money is for me...and I guess the time for it is upcoming...sooner than I anticipated...

@Moayad Albluwe   Those are seriously cute kittens, and I doubt I will be able to resist thinking of names for them, esp with the delightful characters you have described.  (Already had a little think but not come up with anything inspiring).

Life is getting exciting here: it is now only one sleep to go until my new long awaited sofa is due to arrive.  Not having had a comfy sofa to sit / lounge on since the beginning of March I can't wait, and I'm sure Mouse can't either.
Everyone please cross your fingers and send positive vibes that this one arrives when due, without any problems, and is lovely and comfortable.   (The first one I got was like sitting on a park bench and had to go straight back).

Some elegant cat names would be Charlotte, Fiona, Ophelia, Sateen, Aurora. Some male names... Bailey, Tiberius, Cooper, Andre. Or you could do a food theme like my son does. His cats names were fried chicken, muffin, peanut butter, marshmallow, and his dog was named bacon! Lol

When our kittens were born, we waited until they were showing personality traits before naming them. Slipper, for example, likes to get under people's feet. Spot used to chase his tail, roll over, and loved to be rubbed on his tummy--rather like a dog, so that's where his name came from. But if it were up to me---I'd name Kitten number one Nala. Number two would be Kari (after the Digimon character). Number three would be Frisky.  I would name number four Lizzie (after Lizzie McGuire).

I'd name this one Sunny just because her fur is so bright and she catches the light really well. All of you kittens are adorable.

You can choose the names of famous painters, such as Monet, Matisse, Renoir, Picasso, Michaelangelo, Cezanne, Rembrandt, or Rafael. Just an idea! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

Names in Memory of cats that I miss.

I can give you some names to think about. I had a cat that I named Little Paw. Sometimes I called her Lilly so her real name ended up being Little Paw Lily Pad.  She came to a sad end so you could name your cat in her memory. She was a brown tabby. The lady I gave her to let her out in the middle of winter. I think she froze to death.

Another orange cat that I knew for a short time, I named Humprey. I could not keep him and he was adopted by a couple. Unfortunately they did not care well for him and he was hit by a car. You could name one of your cats in his memory if you like. Both cats deserved better. I would never have given my friends to them if I knew they were so irresponsible.

Today is a good day for a hot bowl of chili! Only reached 42 degrees today. Tomorrow isn't going to be much warmer.

Where do you live? I am in Florida and it is 81 degrees here today - like summer already! I went to college in upstate New York, and we used to still get blizzards in April. Being from the South my whole life, 46 degrees sounds awfully cold for April!

For me the sun finally came out. It was pouring rain all day and not very warm, so it is surprising to see sunshine now in the afternoon.

I'm way up in Northern Michigan. We had a warm spell over a week ago. It was in the 70's for nearly a week. Then the bottom fell out and it's cold again.

@Artiemom  You probably would be the best off just with plain ol' Parts A and B and Part D, the prescription drug program, which is rather cheap. Those ads telling you that A and B only pay 80% are misleading. Part A pays all of any hospitalization, and most doctors who take Medicare Part B settle for whatever Medicare is willing to pay. My father was on this, and he was never charged anything, even for multiple surgeries (including a hip replacement) and hospitalizations. You pay for this through your Social Security income.

However, unwilling to test this on myself, I signed up for a no-premium HMO deal. There is a copay for specialists and higher copays for some treatments. The hospitalization part sucks; you pay through the teeth for that. There is an out-of-pocket deductible that runs about $3,400 to $5,000 per year.

The nice thing about any choice you make is that you can switch every year during November and December. Whatever decision you make won't be engraved in stone.

Hmmm  Kind of like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?

Sarthur2 I see you have ditched your cloak of invisibility.  In honor of this I think the kittens should be named after the Harry Potter characters!  The orange kittens and be the Weasley twins, Fred and George.  And the girls can be Hermione and Ginny

You got me there, Handsome Kitty! I do like the Harry Potter names for the kittens. That's a very good idea!

My black cats name is LokI because he is soooooo mischievous. My grey cats name is Chirp,as he doesn't meow, he chirps like a bird. My yellow cats name is Autumn, because she resembles the yellow leaves in the fall and we adopt her in the fall. Our long haired Blondie is named Seamus because he reminded us of a scottsman. Long haired calico is named Munchkin, because at the time, she was the smallest cat. Last but not least is Ivy. So named because she climbs on us like an ivy vine.

Well...if we're naming kittens...let me see...

I kind of like these (the first three are Lakota Souix words.  They are basically just descriptive, but they sound so different!)

Kitten #1  Petala  it means "Little FIre" because of her color.  It is pronounced Pay tah lah

Kitten #2 Winyan.  It simply means "woman," but is such a pretty word!  Ween yahn

Kitten #3  Ziza  it means orange, just orange   Zee zah

Kitten #4  Smudge because of the cute little nose marking that looks like a dirt smudge.

lol. I was thinking the same thing regarding 'smudge'. My son's cat is white with a grey mark across one side of his head. I wanted my son to name him smudge, but he named him marshmallow instead.
