I guess I still don't understand.From previous experience I prefer large kibble.
Yes, this is true. Large kibble would be a choking hazard. I've seen larger kibble in dog food but not cat
I guess I still don't understand.
Cats in general don't chew their food, they swallow it whole, which is why kibble doesn't help clean teeth, so I'm not entirely sure why there's a preference for large kibble.
Does she not like the Nutro?? When you change dry foods, the change needs to be done gradually to avoid any tummy troubles. I personally am not a fan of Science Diet. The ingredients aren't worth the price tag IMO. This is what is in the SD Oral CareGoing to try Science Diet oral care. Kibble is bigger. If she doesn't lime it, I will try something else.
Not to belabor the point, but if small kibble is a choking hazard due to chewing I'm not really sure how large kibble wouldn't create an equal hazard, if not more. She trys to chew small kibble and chokes on it. I have used large kibble before. Just want to find other brands than Nutro.
If choking is a concern regardless of kibble size, is there any reason to even feed dry food? She trys to chew small kibble and chokes on it. I have used large kibble before. Just want to find other brands than Nutro.
