I love the Circle Trilogy by Nora Roberts. Its 3 books of fantasy with wizards, vampires, Goddesses, shape-shifters, with romance, magic and warfare all mixed in.

I like Nora Roberts too.. Are you talking about the "In Death" series? Theyre in like 2060. Ive read a few of those, they are really good. BFs aunt just ordered a few more the other day.Originally Posted by laureen227
it's really, really good - & so are her Joe Grey books - about cats that can talk!

Fiction/fantasy stuff.

Really? I used to be a big Crichton fan, but I didn't care for Prey at all. Maybe I should give it another chance.Originally Posted by Angelwing
Anything by Michael Crichton. Prey is my favourite of his. It's sci-fi.
Absolutely! It's even better than The DaVinci Code, and I can hardly wait for the movie! (Yes, I know it's unfashionable to like The DaVinci Code, but I do. So there!Originally Posted by Krazycatlover
Angels and Daemons was really good. I would read it before the movie comes out

I agree that Stephen King lost his way for awhile there with Lisey's Story and Cell and a couple of others (though even at his worst, he's always intriguing) -- but I think Duma Key is one of his all-time best! I've already re-read it once, and loved it even more the second time. Highly recommended!Originally Posted by calico2222

I've been reading a few of hers too thx to the suggestions I gotOriginally Posted by WellingtonCats
Chris, I was just going to post that thread.
I'm currently reading 'Picture Perfect' by Jodi Picoult. I think it's the last one - I've read all the others
Which ones do you like so far? Picture Perfect has started off quite well - the last one I read was Songs of a Humpback whale, that was a bit strange.Originally Posted by Snake_Lady

I love this series. And Jamie, wow, in my imagination, what a hunk! LOL. Also, did you know you can order Claire's wedding ring online?Originally Posted by ut0pia
I'm currently reading the outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. I read "Outlander" and now i'm on the second book of the series which is called "Dragonfly in Amber". It's very interesting- set in Scotland and involves time travel from 1950s to 1750s. It is amazing IMO because it combines historical fiction with romance and the protagonist is a woman- Claire who I think it a really good role model ...Anyone read those? I really like this thread, because I always go through these stages where I don't know what to read, it's hard to just go to a bookstore and pick up a book and actually like it. I will take some of these recommendations as soon as I am done with the outlander series..
I've read or listend to most of these. Which one is Picture Perfect?Originally Posted by WellingtonCats
