Theres not much i can say on the topic. Shes 7 weeks old, and the day she started playing was the day she started chewing cords. How do i nip this in the butt NOW? i dont want to cover my cords with that chew guard. I measured it out and with all my technology it would cost me 700 dollars to cover them all. I want her to stop. Not just be able to chew on it without hurting herself

An inexpensive way to cover electical cords is to use clear flexible plastic tubing such as aquarium air tubing. Hardware stores will have plastic tubing in larger diameters and various thicknesses. Just measure tubing to length, carefully slit lengthwise on one side, and tuck the cords into the tube. If you want, you can coat the outside of the tube with Bitter Apple spray or something really nasty tasting (to cats) such as tobasco sauce.

Kittens will chew on everything and do things you don't want them to do. It's just part of how they learn and play
Make sure to play with your kitten so she's not getting bored and will seek things out to do. Some active kittens may need several playtime sessions daily. When she does dos omething you don't want or like, firmly tell her NO and redirect her attention somewhere else.

My Aby used to chew on cords as a kitten. He was doing it out of boredom because Abys are a highly active and social breed. I ended up adopting a similar age kitten for my Aby to play with. That stopped the cord chewing. You may want to consider getting another kitten to curb the cord chewing.

Try putting something that taste yuck to cats on the cords.

Mine cat was a cord chewer when she was young. I made sure most of the cords where out of her reach. The cords she still had access put double sided sticky tape on. She  completely lost interest in a couple of days.
